Drunk senseless and driving against traffic along highway: Talk about having a saint in heaven... A thirty-one-year-old man, drunk senseless, was driving the wrong way along the highway. The alarm was raised early in the morning, at about four o'clock, when someone warned that a vehicle was going the wrong way. A patrol intervened immediately, finding the car stopped on the lane, but facing the opposite direction. Inside, the officers found the driver slumped over the steering wheel, completely out of his senses. The breathalyser confirmed that he had an extremely high alcohol level, five times over the legal limit, so much so that he had come to a stop in the overtaking lane and lost consciousness. For the drunk senseless driver, licence immediately revoked, vehicle seized and heavy fine for driving against traffic.

It was about four in the morning, still dark, when the alarm was raised about a car going the wrong way along the highway. Someone driving against traffic is a serious danger. We set off immediately towards the highway. When we arrived, we saw the car stopped in the overtaking lane, but facing the opposite direction. Inside was a man, slumped over the steering wheel. The breathalyser confirmed what we thought. He had an extremely high alcohol level, five times over the legal limit, so much so that he had stopped right there in the overtaking lane and lost consciousness.
