Firemen save a puppy fallen into a canal in Pordenon: The barking of a puppy, fallen into a canal near Prasecco Street in Pordenon, caught the attention of passers-by late this morning, who promptly rang for emergency services. The operations room of the Pordenon fire brigade was therefore alerted and sent a team to the scene. Firemen immediately found the poor little animal, by then nearly out of strength and unable to climb out of the water. Two firemen managed to go down into the canal and retrieve it, then left it in the hands of veterinary rescue volunteers. The puppy’s owner, who was searching for it, arrived soon after; he was therefore able to be reunited with his four-legged friend.
